About

Greetings! My name is Sam Flint. I'm currently a PhD candidate at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, studying under Professor Robert Dyer in the ESQuaReD lab.

I'm interested in the empirical evaluation of programming languages and language constructs using large datasets, as well as through methods like eye-tracking to better understand how developers comprehend code as they read or write.

Outside of research, I enjoy cooking and baking. I'm also an Emacs user (having contributed to a few packages and maintaining some of my own, see Projects).
